A personal introduction

Hello, I’m Tim.
Your audiologist, from the start.

I’m the owner and audiologist behind South Coast Hearing. I qualified in 2016, and my experience spans clinical care, mentoring and training professionals across the NHS and private sectors.

I created South Coast Hearing to offer independent care built around listening, understanding and lasting relationships. I take time to understand how your hearing affects everyday life, explain my findings clearly and help you make informed decisions at your own pace.

Having your hearing assessed doesn’t mean you need hearing aids. Sometimes, practical advice, reassurance and a better understanding of your hearing are all that’s needed. My recommendations are guided by your individual needs.

Understand your hearing

I take time to explore your everyday listening difficulties and explain what your assessment results mean for you.

Help with ear wax

I examine your ears and remove wax where appropriate, with advice on any further care you may need.

Hearing aids & aftercare

I offer independent recommendations, carefully fitted hearing technology and ongoing support, without being tied to a particular manufacturer.

A local clinic. Or your own front door.

Choose from three West Sussex clinics, or arrange a visit at home. All appointments are arranged in advance.

If travelling is difficult, or you simply prefer familiar surroundings, I can visit you at home for hearing assessments, wax removal, hearing aid fitting and ongoing care.

Can I enquire for someone else?

Yes. Family members, friends and care-home staff are welcome to make an initial enquiry. I can help you work out the best way to involve the person who needs support.
